Mortal Kombat X

Mortal Kombat X is a fighting video game developed by NetheRealm Studios, it is the tenth main installment in the  Mortal Kombat video game series and was released on April 14, 2015 for Microsoft Windows, Ps4, Xbox One. Like previous Mortal Kombat games, Mortal Kombat X’s gameplay consists of one or two players and the CPU, fighting against each other with their chosen character, using a large array of character specific attacks. The inspiration that I will take from MKX is the main key factor of the franchise which is blood and gore. The major part of my fight sequence is that as the brawl between the two warriors gets more dire and intense, both of them begin to get severe injuries that soon appear to be fatal.

Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2

Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 is a video game based in the manga and anime franchise Dragon Ball and is a follow-up to the 2009 video game dragon Ball: Raging Blast. It was developed by Spike and published by Namco Bandai under the Bandai label for the Ps3 and Xbox 360 gaming consoles in the beginning of November 2010. Like its predecessor, Raging Blast 2 uses 3-D gaming mechanics with the camera alternating from over the shoulder to overhead angles at various moments. The player takes on the role of one of the available characters taking on another character from the franchise using a various basic, melee, or signature “ki” fighting techniques. The combat features a technique called Raging Soul, where players are restricted from “ki” attacks, but physical attacks become stronger. The idea that really catches my interest is the transformations that are used in the game which makes the specific characters become more powerful with different attacks. During the penultimate part of the clash, the two will reach the level to transform into more powerful beings.

The WWE Games are a series of more than 20 professional wrestling video games currently developed by Visual Concepts and Yuke’s and published by 2K Sports. The games in the series are based on the professional wrestling promotion WWE and feature professional wrestling match types, storylines and playable characters based on WWE programming. One of the most impressive elements about the WWE games that inspires me for the fight scene is the wrestling moves and finishers and while my characters are fighting, there is a couple of nods to these games where both characters use a variety of wrestling abilities.

Batman Arkham City and Origins: Boss Fights

I am going to make a quick explanation about this, of course the Batman Arkham series is not a fighting game but City and Origins is home to some of the most fast-paced and most energetic boss fights that I really want to take some inspiration from these two games.
