A fighting games is genre of video game in which a gamer battles against another character controlled by another player or the artificial intelligence. Fighting games often contains special moves or transformations that are triggered through rapid sequences of button,  computer mouse or video game controller presses moments. These games traditionally show fighters from a 2D- scrolled view, but variant viewpoints are now used in many of the newer games in this genre, such as 3D scrolled view nowadays.

Before I explain the main subject, I would like to say that there were other genres of video games I really wanted to choose, but I only had to choose one and fighting was the one that was fresh in my mind. I chose this genre because of ‘character rosters’ that consisits of a variety of different characters male or female, different modes such as co-op, survival and character creation you can create your own unique characters of your imagination. Story modes also catch my eye, despite them being quite short stories, the majority of them are still good.

The fighting games that I based the character designs on are Mortal Kombat, WWE games and Dragon Ball Raging Blast. For Mortal Kombat, I am more interested with the brutal fights that will consist of blood and gore, along with its many environments and original characters designs, where they show an attitude of toughness in them. The WWE games, I am centering around the different wrestling moves and finishers that I wish for my characters to use during their brawl. Lastly the transformations in Dragon Ball Raging Blast was brought to my attention. My characters will reach the level to transform into more powerful beings especially in the penultimate part of the fight.
